Victoria High Alumni Association - Suggestions for Planning

- Don`t try to do it all by yourself, Get other classmates to join
your committee. You will need a broad representation in order to locate
your fellow grads.
- Make a complete list of grads from the Camosun yearbook and give
a copy to every committee member so they can help to locate grads.The
Vic High Alumni.
Association have a data base of alumni. It is originally based on the addresses at time
of graduation, but is updated every time a class has a reunion and sends the updated
list of addresses to the Alumni Association.
- You will need a registrar, treasurer, secretary, etc.
- If you are using Victoria High School, check ahead with School District
61 Rentals Dept. to get your permit.Phone 475-4178.
- Some committees have found it useful to ask for a pre-registration
deposit of $20 to show a commitment to attend. This also provides
the committee with some cash to work with. This $20 is credited to
the final registration fee.
- Communicate by mail, email or phone.Let everyone know who is on the
committee, who is pre-registered, and what is planned.
- Include classmates who didn`t graduate.
- Some reunions include ex teachers.
- Contact Alumni Association if you need insurance.
